By downloading, installing, or using the Hisaab application ("the Application") or visiting this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.
2. License and Usage
Hisaab is provided free of charge for personal and non-commercial financial record-keeping. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use the software on your personal Windows and Android devices.
3. Disclaimer of Financial Advice
The Application is designed solely as an offline-first financial ledger and personal calculation tool. Hisaab does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or professional financial investment advice. Any statements, reports, analytics, or summaries generated by the software are for informational record-keeping purposes only.
4. User Responsibilities & Passphrase Security
Because Hisaab operates using zero-knowledge encryption, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master security passphrase and any sync encryption keys. If you lose your master passphrase, your encrypted backups cannot be recovered by the developer or any third party.
5. "As-Is" Warranty & Limitation of Liability
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE DEVELOPERS OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.
